Criteria
Committed Christian
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in music field
Embraces Methodist doctrine
Works cooperatively with others
Possesses organizational and interpersonal skills
Experienced in worship planning
Proficient pianist

Accountability
Reports to Pastor and in the absence of a Pastor, reports to the Pastor Parish
Relations Committee

Director of Music Ministries Partial Duties listing
Coordinate with Pastor concerning all worship services
Conduct the Chancel Choir
Follow the liturgical/seasonal calendar
Choose music for the Chancel Choir
Put together special ensembles
Work cooperatively with the Worship Ministry Team
Secure and coordinate guest musicians
Provide written announcements and information concerning music programs

Salary
$24,000 annual, commensurate with experience
